Summer at NorthBridge

Summer at NorthBridge

Sunday service is offered at 10 a.m. in the summer, including from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Waumba Land (preschool) and UpStreet (elementary) are available at 10 a.m. Transit (middle school) is moved to 11:30 a.m. and InsideOut (high school) will remain at 4:30 p.m. for summer.

Because our After Parties have been such a huge hit in summers past, we’ve decided to offer them again this summer to show we are FOR you and the families in our community. They allow for an opportunity to connect with each other and create an environment so we can reach people who might be far from God. Each week, we are adding some post-service elements of fun and fellowship. Invite your friends, neighbors and family members!

Stay tuned! We will announce our Summer After Party Calendar soon!

We are hosting two events you’ll want to add to your calendar now! We are also looking for a little extra help to pull off these two fun events. Our NorthBridge Picnic at the Lake is on June 23 after the 10 a.m service. You can sign up to help here. Plus, we are bringing back the traditional Pittsburgh Wedding Cookie table after service on September 1. We are calling all bakers to show off their skills by signing up here. Both are great one-time serve opportunities!

Summer Groups

Summer Groups

This summer, NorthBridge is offering short-term groups for men and women.

For the Ladies

Does the Bible really tell us that our emotions are untrustworthy? God made us to feel our emotions, to examine and share them—not manage or suppress them. We can learn what it means to live emotionally-healthy lives from studying Jesus’ life and how He cared for and responded to the people around Him.

Join Jennie Allen for the Untangle Your Emotions study, meeting on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning June 19 for five weeks, as she helps you discover that emotions that are submitted to God and used for the purposes God intends connect us to each other and to Him.

For the Gentlemen

Fear. Rejection. Addiction. Anger. Comfort…Must Fall. It’s likely you have a threatening giant in your life…an adversary or stronghold that’s diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. In Goliath Must Fall, pastor Louie Giglio uncovers a newfound twist in the classic story of David and Goliath. The key to living free from our giants is not better slingshot accuracy, but keeping our eyes on the one and only giant-slayer—Jesus. Put your hope in him and watch Goliath fall. Join us Thursdays, beginning June 20 for 5 weeks. We will be offering both in the morning at 7 a.m. and in the evening at 7 p.m.
